FillKeep
FillKeep Privacy Policy

FillKeep is a Chrome extension from Zimvaro that helps you save information and fill repetitive web forms. This policy explains how the current version of FillKeep handles information.
Information you choose to save
You may voluntarily save information in FillKeep profiles, such as your first name, last name, email, phone number, company, and Custom Information you create. Custom Information may include values such as a Customer ID, Department, Membership Number, Internal Reference, or other values you choose.
This information is stored locally in your Chrome browser profile on your device using chrome.storage.local. In the current version, FillKeep does not use accounts, login, cloud sync, a backend, or external processing for this information.
Learned fields
When you use Teach FillKeep, FillKeep can save the local association between a site, a form field, and Saved Information from your profile. To find that field again, it may store site origin or domain context and technical field metadata such as element identifiers, name, id, label, placeholder, aria-label, and similar information needed for that purpose.
This is used only to provide the field-learning function you requested. FillKeep does not save the full content of a web page.
How FillKeep accesses pages
FillKeep examines form fields in the active tab when you explicitly use actions such as Fill Current Form or Teach FillKeep. It uses access to the active tab and scripting only after your action. It does not have permanent access to all websites through an <all_urls> permission.
Sensitive fields
FillKeep is designed to avoid teaching or filling fields identified as passwords, one-time codes or OTPs, payment-card fields, CVV or CVC values, clearly identified banking information, file uploads, hidden fields, readonly fields, and disabled fields. A website may label a field incorrectly, so this design is not a guarantee that every page will identify every field perfectly.
Backups
Export Backup and Import Backup work locally. Backup files are not uploaded to Zimvaro servers, but they may contain personal information you saved in FillKeep. You control those files and should store them securely. Exported backups are separate files and must be deleted manually if you no longer want to keep them.
Data transmission, analytics, and tracking
FillKeep does not transmit saved profiles, Custom Information, learned fields, or backup files to Zimvaro servers in the current version. FillKeep does not sell or rent personal information and does not share personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
FillKeep does not use analytics, telemetry, advertising trackers, or behavioral profiling.
Chrome permissions
storage
Used to store profiles, saved information, learned fields, preferences, and related FillKeep data locally.
activeTab
Used to interact with the current tab after you explicitly invoke FillKeep.
scripting
Used to run FillKeep's form-filling and field-learning functionality in the active page after your action.
Data deletion
You can delete individual Custom Information and Profiles within FillKeep. You can remove learned fields for the current profile and site using Forget Learned Fields. You can also remove or uninstall FillKeep. Backup files you exported remain under your control and are not removed automatically.
Children's privacy
FillKeep is not specifically directed to children.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this policy if FillKeep changes. If a future version introduces cloud sync, accounts, payments, external processing, or analytics, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or together with that change.
